The main highlight of the trip was going to The House On The Rock. We hadn't been there in a while and decided that it was time to visit it again. Basically this man decided to build his house in and on a rock. He also was a collector of many things ranging from old cash registers to ship engines. The place is so fascinating that every time we go there, I notice things that I didn't notice before. Although this year was the first time I brought Cobra, and he did EXCELLENT! I was so impressed. I'm sure I owe it all to the Gentle Leader because I shudder to think what he would have been like with out it.
Another interesting thing that we saw on our trip was an old jumper plane that was used in the 30's and 40's (I think:) It was a Don Qinn plane and was parked by the Don Q. motel so anyone could go in and see it. No one knew who Don Q was, but come on, it was a Don Q. plane nonetheless! :) Cobra enjoyed the plane and I thought that the stairs leading to the plane would scare him (open back, deck type stairs, leading 35 feet up) but he stormed up there like a trooper. He also went up the storage steps that were below the plane just fine also and those were bent to pieces. Needless to say, I think he has stairs down perfectly.

Here we are posing by the plane. Again, this is only the front half of the plane, it was just huge! This plane was really long and in this picture, you only see the back half!Sometimes I can't stand our camera (Cobra's eyes look strange) but oh well :(
Cobra and Merlin.......Priceless! Although Cobra has his eyes closed (he looks so cute that way!) and Merlin's face is scrunched up a little. Funny.
Cobra in front of the world's largest carousel, even though it looks small from the picture. :)

Looks like you had fun on your little adventure. That's a fun looking plane. And congrats to Cobra on those open stairs!
Arby is Larry's 2nd. Goblin from the Halloween litter was his first. He was sure Arby was going to go guide. Then he would have had a service graduate and a guide graduate.
:)
Whoa, that plane looks so cool! Looks and sounds like Cobra handled it all like a pro! Merlin is creepy looking, LOL. I added you to my blog favorites.
