Interview

Well today is the big day. I am scheduled for an interview from Tractor Supply at 4 this afternoon. I am really excited about it too! I heard from my dad (who knows the manager from church and a longtime friend) that the girls that are working there now look pretty and are nice, but that's as far as it gets. They don't know how to properly use the cash register, how to direct customers to certain sections of the store, or how to help the customers answer questions.

I at least have some of those in my favor. I have two brothers who have their own construction companies and I work for them occasionally so I know about certain building material and such. Also, some of you know this, but my parents and I have our own lawn care business (I've been working at it since I was 9 and we mow for about 70 customers) so I know about small motors and common knowledge about mowers and such.

The big thing that I would be most knowledgeable about is their pet section and more specifically their dog section. I delved into the world of dogs when I was about 12 years old and ever since then, I have been deeply rooted. I compete in the ever fast growing sport of Dog Agility with Tara and I have done a few competition obedience trials also. Herding is another thing I have gotten into with Annie and in the spring I will be Co-Owning a Neapolitan Mastiff that I will be showing, so add Conformation to the list.

Anyway, dogs are my thing and that section of the store will be my haven!
I wonder what the employee discount it? Maybe I'll just buy my dog supplies there from now on.
