New Puppy?

I've had alot of people congratulating Cobra and I for the article in the paper, but just this morning I got a call from non other that the puppyraiser of the Leader dog puppy I saw in Tractor Supply.
She said the article was wonderful and everything, but she was wondering if I could take her pup, douby (not sure the spelling; wrote it how it sounds) for a day or two in January.
Apparently, The Leader Dog school requires the puppy to be with a different puppy raiser every once in a while. So I said that I would do it sometime in January. What a fun and new experience that will be for both Cobra and I.
That way, I'll be having a pup in the house again and it will put a stop to the little puppy withdrawals I'm having. Cobra still a puppy, but a BIG puppy, and I'm missing one that can be picked up or loves to trip over its ears (I know, labs don't have extremely long ears, but come on, work with me here)

WOW - that's so exciting! How old is he now? When do you get him? That's so neat.

Yay!! That'll be fun for you and Cobra!!! And I think all raisers understand how we can have puppy withdrawals, while still having a "puppy." :)
