Getting Closer

I just received word today that a Labrador at KSDS is in heat. If all goes well and her breeding sticks, then I could have my puppy for sure by the end of July. On my application, I had put down that I wanted a Labrador and it didn't matter if it was male or female. The other dog breed option was a Golden retriever, and yes their nice dogs and all, but I feel that a Lab is more for me (another small side is that I also think their cuter :) I sure hope the mother is healthy and will be able to have nice, strong, and healthy pups.
