More Than Puppy Love

For those of you that don't know, KSDS made a movie about service dogs and KSDS
Here is the official description for More Than Puppy Love
"This is the story of a girl, her dog, and a man who needs to regain his self-reliance. Curtis Peterson, a strong, vital man in his late twenties, and his wife Marie (Pamela Bach) want to start a family. Tragedy strikes when Curtis is paralyzed in a construction accident. Meanwhile, another family welcomes an addition to its household. Teenager Steve Barnett adopts an 8 week old puppy to train as part of a church project. The Barnett family is to house-train Banner for a year. Then the dog would be returned to KSDS,Inc. where it will be trained to assist the disabled and visually impaired. Steve's sister, 8 year old Emily, ends up taking care of Banner, and falls in love with the dog. Her happiness is offset by the tragic circumstances affecting Curtis and Marie. When Marie takes a job as a waitress to support the family, Curtis is left to sit at home alone, wallowing in self pity. Fate intervenes when Steve's father stops at a diner, where he meets Marie and suggests she call KSDS. She does so, despite the reluctance of her husband. Trouble ensues when Emily runs away with Banner to eccentric Aunt Edna's (Diane Ladd). "
You can purchase it and help fund KSDS by going to http://www.ksds.org/ and clicking under "Merchandise." I own this movie and it really is a touching and moving story. I hope all of you will purchase it.

Sounds like a pretty good movie. How much do they want per DVD?

Did you know the lab in the movie "Banner" is actually named for the first stud golden KSDS had. So is Banner park just (east?) of the training facility. Banner played a major role in making the great breeding program of KSDS what it is!

I emailed the people making the sequel but haven't heard back. Did you find out anything?

Yes! and did you know that the dog who actually played Banner was a dog from the "Cloud" litter I believe. Off hand I can't remember who, but the info. is out there.
The Sequel sounds interesting, but I don't think it's going to be about KSDS. Unless, and this is a far stretch, KSDS is involved in it and they are keeping it a big secret until it is revealed. Thoughts?
