Tomorrow (Oct 13) I will be attending out local dog show (Mason City Kennel Club) with 3 other KSDS pups-in-training (Not by MYSELF!! If that's what you were thinking! :)
Two ladies who live about an hour East of me will be attending with Bristol and Daytona (part of the racetrack themed litter) and another lady will be coming up from about three hours away with Mamba. Can you maybe guess who Mamba is themed after? If you said snakes than that's right! It's Cobra's brother!
We are going to spend a little time at the dog show and then are going out to eat at Applebee's for lunch. That will pretty much take care of Saturday.
Now Sunday will be a different story.
I have volunteered to steward an obedience ring on Sunday but heaven knows I have no idea what I'm going to be doing. I even went to a little "stewarding class" and I'm still confused.
I hope I can see what the stewards are doing on Sat. and maybe I can get a feel for it.
I'll be sure to take pictures of the pups.
On a side note, we have my brother's family's dog here with us for the weekend. Jasmine is actually Tara's sister! Those two were the last litter Nikky, their mother; our old dog, had which was around 14. She did live to be 17 though and for a larger dog like that, its pretty impressive. I hope she passes that on to Tara.
Anyway, back on track, Cobra and Jasmine are kind of in the same area together (Cobra has an area that he goes to when he's under foot or if we just want to relax!!) and I just bought Cobra this giant grunting mallard duck. He is grunting it nonstop all the while doing laps around Jasmine. Its so cute and funny. Since Jasmine is an older dog though, she doesn't think its such a hot idea :)
Have a good day Ya'll!!
