Alright, now for my job update..........
Two words.......LOVING IT!!!! Right now, because I'm the new apprentice and starting my first year, I'll be stuck doing kennel wash downs and such alot, but I don't mind! It's all part of the description.
I'll try and explain a typical day, but keep in mind that things come up and then that throws everything off and you have to go off your schedule, but it should go something like this:
8 a.m. Arrive at the canine Housing Unit and open all the dog doors (at
night,they get shut in)
8:10 Feed
8:45 Wash down kennels and disinfect
9:15 ish Do cleaning list
9:30 or so Break
10 or 10:30 Finish cleaning list
11 Have exercise, playtime, spend quality love time with ones that need it :)
12 p.m. LUNCH
1 Take dogs out for exercises, training, and do things that need to be done or asked of
you
3;30 Feed
4 Wash down outside kennel
5 DONE
well there ya have it! that's what I usually do, but in my few days of working there, there have been a few days that totally was not like that at all!!

Sounds exciting... YAY - I'm so glad you are there. The dogs are in such good hands with you and Kim. (And Caitlyn and Deb and Michelle! :))
