Working in Harness

Can I brag? Will anybody be mad at me? lol! I hope not, but it's not really a brag, but a privilege.
You guys have no idea how cool it is to see Cobra working and learning. He's in his harness, all ready to go and the trainer and him start heading down the sidewalk or into a building in the wheelchair. It is just so neat to see him working.

I know, I just know that when Cobra gets handed to his partner to begin his 2 weeks of training with him/her that it will be extremely difficult to hold back the tears. It is just such an awesome feeling to know and to see how he will effect this one particular person. It's just really neat.

I know the feeling. Watching Irie work was amazing...hopefully Cobra won't choose her path though ;)

That really is incredible!! I have a question... how does KSDS handle you being a trainer and not working with him, etc.? I'm assuming he's with a different trainer... But wouldn't it still be hard to work there and not see him? I only ask 'cause sometimes I've talked to GDA people about becoming a trainer, and they always suggest not raising puppies if I do that, because it'd be hard on the dog when it comes IFT and I'm working, evne though I'd be handling a different string of dogs, etc.
