Thanksgiving and Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

Well, hi everyone!

It's been a little bit since I updated, but let me tell you about my Thanksgivings. First off, I got to spend thanksgiving day at a fellow puppy raiser/friend's house since I had to work the next day and couldn't head home yet. I took Mosier, and him and Aspen hung out at Jenna's house while we went to her mom's house and had some awesome food! Loved those yams Jenna! :)
Later, we went to Walmart and we took Mosier down the Christmas aisle and played with all the electronic figurines and such. Mosier was quite interested in that, but he left them be like a good boy! Then, while we were looking at Christmas trees, these children came up to us, and asked if we could pet him. I said okay, and he did wonderful! He didn't stand to greet them, but sat the whole time and let them pet him. It was funny because after I told the girl what his name was , they said they have a doctor named Dr. Mosier!! how funny is that!?! Not a common name, so I got a kick out of that.
Afterwards, I headed back to northern Kansas. I spent the next few hours baking for KSDS' Christmas cookie day and some for my family. Needless to say, I'm glad I get a few short weeks off before I have to do Christmas baking :)
After working in the morning, I started the trek back to Northern Iowa. I was transporting a dog to Des Moines so do you know how many dogs i had in my little Blazer?! Yeah, um 5!!!! to be honest, all of them are excellent car riders and they just slept. Well, Annie is a bit of a nervous car rider, but she lays down and doesn't throw up or anything. She just isn't completely relaxed and spends the whole time wide eyed! Oh well, what can ya do?
I got here about 6.5 hours later and unloaded all the dogs and unpacked my stuff, then headed back out to go see Madagascar with my friends. That movie was awesome! I took Mosier and he did very well! Wanted to sniff a little bit and look around, but nothing major. I was so used to Cobra falling asleep that I had to keep remind myself that this is a different dog with a different personality. Besides, Cobra didn't go to his first movie until he was like 15 months! So Mosier, being ten months, did very well. :)
Then on Saturday, We had our big family Thanksgiving. Mosier and my other dogs didn't get to go, because some people aren't a big fan of dogs, so they stayed home. By the way, we played Monopoly and I usually am the first or second person out, but this time I won!! I never win! I just wanted to share that, I was very proud of myself :)
Saturday night, Mosier and I went to another movie with a friend. This one was the new James Bond, Quantum of Solace. I thought it was very good, but I did get a little lost on the plot :) Mosier did about the same, but they was a ton more people there this time and there was someone right in front of us, so it was good considering.
Today, I woke up with about 3'' of snow on the ground! It had started Saturday night and continued through the night, leaving a nice, fresh blanket on the ground. I took the dogs out today to play in it. Chase, the KSDS retired breeder that my parents adopted, enjoyed having friends to play with! He is 7, but he frolicked in the snow like he was 1!! It was too cute seeing all of them running around all crazy like. I took pictures, but took A LOT and haven't had a chance to see if I need to delete some. with five dogs running every which way, I think I got some blur pictures :)
Well I hope this wasn't too long and will be updating again soon, and with pics!
