Sorry, no pictures on this post, but I finally cleaned out my camera and put it on the computer! It is now ready for more memorable moments to be captured!
Today was the loooooooooooooooooongest day of work! I thought the day was never going to end! No matter what I did, or how I tried to keep busy, the minutes still drug on.......I hate those days.
One of my things that I tried to keep myself busy doing was work on Doniphan's commands. I know that's what we do ALL the time, but I meant setting up situations that would require the commands to be tested :) For example, I was stocking some items (dog bones to be exact :) and dropped a few in front of him, and kind of kicked them around. he did good! A few corrections, but did great! Also worked on sequences of sit,down, stand, let's go! and repeat.......repeat about a hundred times! Well at least it felt like it, but how the day was going, I think we did about 30 :)
We worked on sitting while people are petting him. He likes to inch and then finally stand up....silly boy. Now that one was a hard one that may require more work :)
So that kind of sums up our day. we worked almost 11 hours so, needless to say, we didn't have much time for anything else . I think I'll head off to bed because I am just pooped!! Doni is too, asleep in his crate, didn't even eat the rawhide I put in there for him.

Long days can wear you out, but you used the time very wisely.
First off, I love updates because it's like reading about Ellie. I've had a HECK of a time getting her not to inch forward and then stand when people pet her. Of course, my coworkers are bad bad bad influences because when she does that they get excited and then pet her more and talk in a higher pitch while I tell them "no" and try to correct her. Oh, people people people... Glad to hear he's doing so good especially with distractions. Glad you cleared off your camera - just in time for PUPSdaze! :D Can't wait to see you! *ps I heard Zane might not be there :(
