Last Day

Friday was Vance and I's last day of work. Even though he didn't get to go too much cause he didn't have his cape yet, he still got to work on important skills and start learning the aspects of being a puppy in training out in public.
Here is where he would often hang out, by the cash register by me. Like with Doni and Cobra, they got to follow me around the store more but because they were further along in their training. little Vance just was too little yet to follow me all throughout the store so when I was working the registers, those were the days I brought him.

Since spring is just around the corner in northern Iowa, we recently got our mower display up and Vance wanted to pose by one sooo bad (okay, that request was made by me, but ya never know! He could have wanted to)

"What does this thing do again?"

As KSDS puppy raisers, we get food donated to us by Hills Science Diet so naturally I had to take his picture by his favorite bag of dog food :)

Since I am moving the California and not coming back to Tractor Supply, I thought it only fitting to get a picture with Vance and I in the store. Tractor Supply has been very gracious to me over the years. My manager allowing the dogs (which I think on certain days, he talked to the dogs more than me lol) to all the co-workers acting wonderfully around me and the dogs. Made some lifelong friends there and am gracious for the opportunity to work there my second time around (for all of you that don't know, this was my second time working at TSC.)

Well the packing is coming along nice. Adam and I plus Tara plus Sammy plus Annie plus JD plus Kansas plus Parker plus...oh wait that's everyone lol, will be heading out on Friday to make the long, 1800 mile trek. I would love to update along the way, but it may not happen as we will be trying to drive straight through with minimal stops. I will definitely write many a long posts once I'm down there and will work on getting caught up with everyone else's blog.

Have a safe trip. Can't wait to hear an update when you get out there. And, sorry to hear we'll miss you at Memorial Day.
