250th Post!

Wow! I can't believe that I have written about my adventures as a puppy raiser 250 times! That's just proof that time flys and you aren't even aware of it.

I haven't raised many compared to other raisers, but the things I have learned, and continue to learn, from these 3 amazes me. Hope there is many more to come :)

Sunday was a BIG day for Vance. We went to Chili's for lunch and he did excellent, as always. The waiter even asked if I could move his tail (it was sticking out in the aisle) because she would feel bad if she stepped on it. We had a good experience at Chili's :)

We then went to PetsMart, Vance's first time, and he did okay. He needs a little work with other dog distractions, but what 6 month old pup doesn't? We walked up and down aisles with dogs and when we took a break from that, we visited the birds, reptiles, and small animal cages. The reptiles he could care less, but loved the birds! If it wasn't for glass, he might have had one in his mouth! We worked on leave it, sitting and just watching, and walking by. Settled after awhile :)

We then went to Walmart and of course, perfect! A lady even stopped me and said how much she hated people, but loved dogs. lol, she kind of creeped me out but it was good experience for Vance nontheless.

On our way home, we thought we would try our luck at the Casino. Let's just say, I thought it would help having Vance as my lucky charm, but I still lost money :( only 10 dollars though so we're good. He wasn't phased at all by the blinking lights, or slot machine sounds. I think by this point he was soo tired, he just wanted to drop.

We had a good day and I would have taken pics, but of course, I forgot my camera. I always keep it in my purse, but took it out to charge the batteries and forgot to put it back in.
