Tara is my oldest dog and I got her when I was 12 years old. Our farm dog had her last litter of two puppies and I begged and begged my parents to let me keep her. I wanted to have and train my own dog for so long I was determined to keep her. Thankfully they agreed and my brother decided he wanted her littermate. Jasmine still lives with them.
I had heard about Agility and knew I wanted to train her for that. Well...let's just say the rest is history :) We haven't competed for a year and its been few and far between but we are close to competing in the Elite level.

Tara is, excuse my french, Queen Bitch and she knows it! She is alpha, under me of course, and she lets all the dogs know it. She is smart, and is my best trained dog. I made alot of mistakes with her, but thankfully, she was willing to let me correct them years later.

She is 9 years old and she acts like she's 2!! I don't think she will ever settle down, she is hyper and loves attention. She is very helpful when it comes to puppy raising. Tara lets the pup know who's boss and that you don't mess with her and that if the pup gets too rough with the other dogs, she lets them know that too.

I love this girl and she better live to be 100!! Can that be a command? lol

Wow, she looks great! It's nice to hear she still has all her energy and health. I hope Cabana will have Tara's spunk at 9.
