A Few Not So (or Maybe So) Important Things

Well today, I'll be heading off to work around 12, but not with Cobra today. Some lady is coming down from a TSC in Minneapolis and I have to do closing procedures with her (or him.... not sure!) so I thought it would be best to just leave him home today. She/He could maybe make problems for Cobra and I so I would rather not risk it.

You could say I'm going through this brief depressed stage because I am a big, Big, BIG fan of the hit t.v. series Supernatural and this weekend, the two main characters, Jensen Ackles (Smallville, Dark Angel) and Jared Padalecki (Gilmore Girls) are at a special Supernatural Convention in Chicago. I love that series and I love the two main actors so I really wanted to go, but time and money wise, it just wasn't possible. So even though its over, I still would have loved to have gone. Oh well, hopefully next year I can make it.

Cobra news: well, I don't have much on him really. He kind of lays around the house all day and goes through several brief zoomie moments, but other than that, his life isn't really that exciting.
I was thinking about this the other day and I realized that now, I just go into a store with him. I don't even think about it. Before it was like, "OK, do I have permission, will I get yelled at, did Cobra go potty, I really hope he doesn't have an accident. I wish he would stop pulling! AAHHH!!" Now its all good, in fact I rarely use his Gentle Leader anymore. Its amazing!

As for a brief update on possible turn in dates, I don't have much except that the litter before him just got their letters that they need to turn them into KSDS in 3 weeks, so with that said, not sure. They had just turned two on November 4th, I believe. and they got their letter soon after that. A part of me wants to keep him as long as possible but the other part wants him to get going, so he'll be able to help someone sooner. oh well. He's 19 months now, so we'll see.

Yeah, they've been keeping the pups out for quite a while lately. Maybe you'll get to keep him for awhile!

Hope you're feeling better now. Maybe you'll have some news on Cobra soon. Living in turn in limbo must be stressful. At least if you knew one way or the other, you might be able to relax a bit.

I'm sure it'll all work out smoothly. :)
