I Love You Cobra!

Alright, here are the pics from Cobra's Graduation!!! Cobra is, as most of you know, a Service dog in Iowa. He is helping a young lady who has CP by balancing and such.
Cobra wasn't the only graduating. His brother, Mamba, was also placed as a Service dog with a young lady in Kansas. Then there was Arthur who is a Service dog with a lady in Colorado and then Talladega, the racetrack litter, who was helping a man in Kansas also.
We also have two their programs at KSDS, the Guide dog program and the Social program. The social dogs, Poppy and Draco, were partnered with ladies in Kansas who attend schools where there love will be needed on a day to day basis :)

Our Guide student was an older gentleman and we was placed with Daytona, also of the racetrack litter.

Being able to see your very first dog that you raised make it all the way through really is something that's priceless and unforgettable. It was because of him and the program that I decided to cross state lines and become a trainer. My big silly boy, now a man, has given me so much that words just don't describe it. He improved my confidence, my public speaking, and my attitude towards people less fortunate, or what I have come to realize, more blessed :)

Thank You Cobra! I love you soo much and I know now that your partner who I was training you for, is equally if not more, blessed.

Doing what he always does in front of a big crowd......sleep!

To the left is Mamba, Cobra's brother!

There I am, standing behind Cobra and his partner. You can click on the pic for more of a closeup. I forgot to crop it ;)

Congratulations Sarah and Cobra! I'm interested in possibly raising a Service Dog in the future. Right now I'm raising my second puppy in training for GDA.
