This Christmas was bitter sweet for me. I was really planning on going back to Iowa for Christmas but we were trying to save up money for plane tickets for Adam and I. Well, we waited too long because they were well over a thousand dollars and we just couldn't pull that off this year.
It was nice to receive things in the mail from my family and friends, but one package was especially meaningful to me.
It was a rather large box addressed to me from non other than Cobra's partner! For those of you that are new to my blog, Cobra was the first dog that I raised and is now a working service dog back in my home state of Iowa.
I was eager to open it, but Beth (Cobra's partner) told me that I had to wait for Christmas....poop!
So I waited, waited, and did some more waited and on Christmas I opened up the different packages.
It was a combo gift of Christmas and wedding gifts, but boy were they amazing!
She made a full on scrapbook for me to put wedding photos in. It is done so beautifully! The details and artwork is so fabulous, the pictures don't do it anywhere near the justice it deserves.
Next, I got a set of these hilariously cute wine glasses. One side features the bride in her dress and the other side features the bride on her wedding night in a sexy corset and all!
(Sorry the picture quality is so bad and that I forgot to turn the picture)
The next and last one is a wonderful picture frame that says "Always a Princess" and on the bottom it says "From Baby to Bride"
Having it say Princess on it is also special because Sarah means Princess
Having opened all of these brought tears to my eyes knowing that Cobra is with a wonderful lady and that he is in such good hands, doing what he was born to do :)
